Terms and Conditions of Sale
www.stellaforest.fr (the Website) is published by FIDLER, a limited liability company with capital of €8,000, registered in the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 419 493 352, whose registered office is located at 17, Rue de Palestro, 75002 PARIS, represented by Ms. Christel BONIFACE, manager.
Application of the general terms and conditions of sale.
The general terms and conditions of sale (GTC) detailed below apply to all product orders placed via the Website by a natural person with the capacity to enter into contracts who is acting as a consumer, i.e. who is not acting in the course of their professional activity (the “Customer”).
Fidler acknowledges that these GTC take precedence over all other documents. All orders require unconditional acceptance of the GTC, which consists of the Customer ticking the box corresponding to the phrase “I have read and accept the general terms and conditions of sale.” Fidler reserves the right to adapt or modify these GTC at any time. The version of the GTC applicable to any sale will be the one in force on the day of the order.
- The Customer
Only Customers residing in countries where delivery is available may place orders on the Website, namely Customers residing in mainland France, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria, Italy, Portugal, and Germany. When placing their first order on the Website, the Customer must create a customer account and fill out an order form specifying certain mandatory fields so that their order can be processed by Fidler.
To create an account, the Customer must choose login credentials (email address and password). The Customer acknowledges that their login details and passwords are strictly personal and confidential. They therefore agree not to disclose or share them with third parties. The Customer undertakes to provide complete, accurate, and up-to-date information. Fidler may, where necessary, ask the Customer to confirm this information and their identity by any means.
The creation of an account and the execution of the order requires the Customer to provide personal data, which is processed by Fidler. This data is collected in accordance with the regulations in force and under the conditions defined in the Privacy Policy available at
III. Orders
To order Products, the Customer must select the Products they wish to order on the Website by clicking on “Add to cart” and complete the various steps of the ordering process. Before finally confirming their order, the Customer will have the opportunity to check the summary of their order and its total price, and to correct any errors, before confirming their order to express their acceptance. Fidler undertakes to honor orders received on the Website only while stocks of the Products are available. If the products are unavailable, Fidler undertakes to inform the Customer as soon as possible, and at the latest within 4 working days of the order being confirmed. The order for this product will then be canceled and a refund issued if applicable.
Fidler is entitled to refuse any order placed by a Customer with whom there is a dispute regarding payment for a previous order, as well as any order that does not comply with these general terms and conditions of sale. In this case, Fidler will inform the Customer by telephone or email. Fidler reserves the right not to process the order if no changes are made by the Customer regarding the incorrect items. Once the Customer has confirmed their order, Fidler will acknowledge receipt by email sent to the address provided by the Customer.
This confirmation email contains all the information relating to the order, including:
- The price of the products
- The quantity to be delivered
- The date of the order
- Delivery costs, if applicable
- The payment method chosen by the Customer
It is recommended that the customer keep a copy of the details relating to their order. No changes can be made to an order once it has been confirmed by Fidler. The Customer has one (1) hour to cancel their Order from the moment it has been confirmed by them. The Customer can contact customer service by email at contact@stellaforest.fr to check the status of their Order.
- Prices and Payment Terms
The prices displayed on the Website are in US dollars. Prices include all taxes (including VAT), excluding delivery costs, customs duties, and other taxes. The prices charged are those in effect on the date of the order. All payments on the Website can be made by credit card (CB, Visa, Mastercard, American Express) or PayPal account.
For credit card payments, the customer must be the holder of the credit card used. They will be directed to a dedicated area provided by a banking institution, which ensures the security and recording of the payment order. Payments by gift card: the Stella Forest gift card is valid in Stella Forest stores located in mainland France and online (excluding department store and outlet stands). It can be used to purchase any product on sale. It is credited with the amount chosen by the purchaser, ranging from $20 to $500. The card balance can be viewed on the Website.
It is valid for one year from the date of activation. It cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded for any reason. It can be used once or several times within the limit of the credited amount, in whole or in part. It is not registered to a specific person. Its use is the responsibility of the beneficiary who holds it.
- Delivery
Delivery can be made to the Customer's home, to a pick-up point, or to a store, at the Customer's discretion when placing the order. Delivery refers to the transfer of physical possession of the products to the Customer. The delivery costs applicable to the order are indicated on the Website when the delivery method is selected and in the order summary. In the case of home delivery, the address provided must be the residential address of the Customer, a natural person of their choice, or a legal entity (delivery to their company). Delivery cannot be made to hotels or PO boxes. The Customer will be able to track their package using the tracking number that will be sent to them by email when the order is shipped.
If delivery is impossible due to an incorrect address or failure by the Customer to collect their Order within 15 days of receipt, no reshipment will be made. The Customer will be refunded within five (5) days of Fidler receiving the Order. Fidler delivers Orders within a maximum of twelve (12) working days for deliveries in mainland France and twenty (20) working days for international deliveries, with this period starting from the first working day after the Order is confirmed.
During periods when new products are launched online, and during sales (clearance sales, private sales), the delivery time may be increased by ten (10) days due to the large and exceptional volume of Orders. In order for deliveries to be made on time, the Customer must ensure that they have provided accurate and complete information regarding the delivery address. Fidler cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery that are not its fault or justified by force majeure. If the delivery deadline is exceeded, the Customer may, after sending Fidler a formal notice to deliver, which has remained unsuccessful, request the cancellation of the sale and obtain a refund of the sums paid within a maximum of fourteen (14) days of their request to this effect.
Outside the European Union, it should be noted that delivery may be delayed until customs formalities and fees have been paid by the Customer, which the Customer accepts. Fidler has no control over these fees. As customs policies vary greatly from country to country, the Customer should contact their local customs office for further information. Furthermore, when the Customer places an order on the Website, they are considered the official importer and must comply with all laws and regulations in the country where they receive the products.
